1Social distancing is a set of nonpharmaceutical infection control actions intended to stop or slow down the spread of a contagious disease. The objective of social distancing is to reduce the probability of contact between persons carrying an infection, and others who are not infected, so as to minimize disease transmission, morbidity and ultimately, mortality.
being the new norm, in-person Bethel PRO PANDA meetings won’t be possible. Therefore a new direction is warranted.
When we started Bethel PRO PANDA just a few short weeks ago, the sweeping changes to daily life that have occurred since were unimaginable. Our biggest concern at the time was finding a face-to-face meeting location that didn’t use fluorescent lights.
With the new realities, guidelines and uncertainties, meeting face-to-face will not be an option for the foreseeable future. Therefore, we will explore virtual meetings using video conferencing.
We currently have access video conference capabilities through Hangouts Meet from Google and will be testing this soon.
In the meantime, we’ll be posting helpful information on the Blog and additional Resources to support you in parenting your children.
