The Bethel School District previously announced that distance learning will be rolled out April 13th. However, in a recent update, Bethel will roll-out distance learning for grades 6 through 12 on that date, and delay the rollout for K-5 until Monday, April 20th.

The objective of social distancing is to reduce the probability of contact between persons carrying an infection, and others who are not infected, so as to minimize disease transmission, morbidity and ultimately, mortality.
being the new norm, in-person Bethel PRO PANDA meetings won’t be possible. Therefore a new direction is warranted.

By executive order, Oregon Governor Kate Brown, has ordered all public schools to remain closed for another six weeks, through April 28. It’s likely that the shutdown could be extended further depending on a number of factors.
